Rotary Technologies’ Servo 4100 NWFnarrow web flexo press is the state of the art servo driven flexo press, priced less than conventional line shaft driven presses. The Servo 4100 NWF has an impressive operating speed of 750 FPM.
Standard features include auto make ready. With a single touch of a button, all print and die stations and sheeter (if applicable) return to a home position in seconds without wasting any paper.
If fine circumferential print adjustments are needed, the changes may be performed at the print station or from the main operator’s touch screen. The print deck contains a micro lateral side plate adjustment. The Servo 4100 NWF uses a closed chamber blade inking system with a quick-change anilox roller.
Many printing tasks are now performed automatically, behind the scene of the operator. One is the automatic end-of-the-roll detector which slowly stops the press, taking it off impression and lowering the unwind. During this process, the press calculates the exact moment to release impression, thus, more saleable printed product per roll.
Re-register Systems are standard on the Servo 4100 NWF. The software packages of the Servo 3000 DRRS and Servo 3500 DDS are seamlessly integrated into the Servo 4100 NWF.
The Servo 4100 NWF Management Information System (MIS) provides the manufacturer with real time press information. The operator logs in the job. This activates the MIS which calculates make-ready time, run time, total time, average press speed, and the lineal feet of paper necessary for the job. This information is stored by the operator, job number, or plant's server. With each shift change, information is updated into the production history of the Servo 4100 NWF.
